….. Threatens To Arrest Offenders
The Lagos State Safety Commission has made a disclaimer of illegal and Unlawful act by unscrupulous members of the public.
In a statement released to HSENations, it was gathered that some unknown individual have been illegally parading themselves in the name of the safety commission with forged official letter, branded vechicle to carry out unlawful assignment
The statement reads thus;
“The attention of the Lagos State Safety Commission has been drawn to some unscrupulous members of the public who carryout unlawful and illegal activities on behalf of Lagos State Safety Commission”.
“The Lagos State Safety Commission hereby disassociate herself from such persons who have branded their vehicles and forged the commissioner’s official letter headed paper, abatement notices and some official paraphernalia worn by some Officials of the Lagos State Safety Commission”
“Members of the public are hereby advised to disregard any illegal purported summon abatement notices,seal orders e.t.c the commission is presently undergoing restructuring aims at repositioning herself for improved service delivery in line with Lagos State Safety Commission law Y2011”
“Anyone found using this commission’s logo to carry out unofficial duties will be arrested and prosecuted in line with relevant law of Lagos State as security personnels have been contacted to carry out such directives”.
