The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Sunday, confirmed 248 new coronavirus cases in the country.
According to its official Twitter handle, 81 cases were recorded in Lagos, 35 in Jigawa and 26 in Borno with 17 other states recording various numbers of cases.
The number of deaths also moved from 128 to 143 in twenty-four hours.
