The Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, has taken to his verified Twitter account to announce that he has tested Negative to COVID-19.
HSENATIONS recall that the governor went into isolation with some of his aides after testing positive to COVID-19.
Fayemi who had earlier promised the Nigeria populace that he will recover and resume back to his office, confirmed in tweet that he spent 11 days in isolation.
He tweeted, “My sincere gratitude goes to God Almighty, my family, my medical team, and all well-wishers for the prayers and solidarity.”
“We must continue to do all we can to tackle the pandemic.”
