Breaking News: Burst NNPC Gas Pipeline On Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Causes Girdlock
A burst NNPC Gas Pipeline has forced a girdlock in Lagos–Ibadan Expressway, according to our souce.
We gathered that the gas pipeline explosion is currently taking place at Punch Place in Magboro.
In a broadcast by Florence Okpe, the Public Education Officer of the Ogun State Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the pipeline got bursted while the workers of a construction company, Julius Berger, “were escavating a surface for worksite”.
According to Florence, “Motorists are advised not to panic as professionals are being contacted to take care of the situation.”

“For people who have a time-bound activities may explore alternative routes and for those who can postpone their trips, let us endeavor to do so while the situation gets controlled”, She added.
