Tyre Burst Caused Death of Two In Benue – FRSC

Two persons have died in a ghastly accident involving a Toyota Picnic Minibus at Asukuya on the Gboko-Markurdi road, according to officials of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC).
The accident which occurred yesterday was reported by Premium Times.
Aliyu Baba, the FRSC Sector Commander in Benue, in his interview with newsmen in Markurdi opined that 10 persons were involved in the accident.
Baba explained that the driver of the bus lost control of his vehicle following a tyre burst.
The FRSC Boss admonished the motoring community to drive with caution while also adhering to traffic rules and regulations for safe driving.

Mr Baba advised road users to always be conscious while driving and to obey all driving rules and regulations.
According to reports, two of the victims died and six escaped with varying degree of injuries. Reports, however, did not state what happened to the remaining two victims.
