Nkechi Isa, spokesperson for FEMA, confirmed the distressing event, mentioning that a team comprising FEMA and the FCT fire service successfully extricated the trapped individual with the aid of specialized equipment.
“The victim was part of labourers casting the first floor of the building when the entire cast fell on him,” Isa disclosed in a statement to journalists. The injured victim is currently undergoing treatment at the National Hospital, Abuja, underlining the severity of the incident.
