Nigeria has recorded new Coronavirus cases with the NCDC announcing 649 new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria.
HSENations reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 649 new Coronavirus cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Wednesday evening, June 24.
This online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 649 COVID-19 cases recorded on Wednesday evening, 250 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, Oyo-100 Plateau-40 Delta-40 Abia-28 Kaduna-27 Ogun-22 Edo-20 Akwa Ibom-18 Kwara-17 FCT-17 Enugu-14 Niger-13 Adamawa-13 Bayelsa-7 Osun-6 Bauchi-6 Anambra-4 Gombe-3 Sokoto-2 Imo-1 Kano-1, northern Nigeria.

The development means the number of cases of coronavirus in Nigeria has risen to twenty-two thousand and twenty (22,020) with seven thousand, six hundred and thirteen (7,613) people discharged and five hundred and forty-two (542) deaths recorded.
