The esteemed 2024 Annual Award ceremony of the Oil and Gas Trainers Association of Nigeria (OGTAN) is scheduled to take place on May 24, 2024, at the renowned Muson Center in Lagos.

As revealed by Dapo Omolade, the association’s Publicity Secretary, the event will feature a keynote address by Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe, the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB).

Established in 2010, OGTAN stands as the independent umbrella Group of Training Services Providers in the Oil and Gas Sector.

It operates under the aegis of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board, representing the Education and Training Sectoral Group of the Nigerian Content Consultative Forum (NCCF).

This initiative, governed by Section 58 of the NOGICD Act (2010), is designed to foster the development of local human capital capacity within Nigeria’s Oil and Gas industry.

OGTAN also serves as a vital intermediary between Operators, International Organizations, and the Nigerian government.
