A three-storey building under construction collapsed in the Ago Palace Way, Okota axis of Lagos State, leaving one trapped.
The Director-General of the Lagos State Emergency Agency (LASEMA), Dr. Oluwafemi Oke-Osanyintolu, confirmed this in Lagos today.

Osanyintolu revealed that an unidentified man, who was later rescued by a rescue team, was trapped under the rubble.
The LASEMA boss said that the impact of the collapse affected some adjacent buildings around the scene of the incident.
He assured all present that the remaining parts of the collapsed building would undergo a controlled demolition exercise once the recovery operation was completed.
