Accolades galore as Nsikak Ekam bags NISafetyE fellowship

Congratulatory notes have continued to trail the Vessel Operations Lead, Logistics at ExxonMobil, Engr. Nsikak-Abasi Ekam ahead of his investiture as a Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Safety Engineers (NISafetyE).

HSENations can report that Engr. Ekam will be conferred with the rank at the Inauguration of the 2022/2023 National Executives/5th Fellowship Conferment of NISafetyE scheduled for Uyo, Akwa Ibom State on February 5.

In its message, the family of Rt. Rev. Marcus N. Enene, Bishop of Mbiaso, Akwa Ibom State, described the fellowship as “well deserved”.

“Indeed, this is your season of double honour.

“It is our prayer that God should use all these to open more doors of blessings to you and your family. Congratulations!” it read.

Also, a friend of the honoree, Amb. Felix EK Nakpodia lauded Engr. Ekam, who is a former President of American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), Nigeria chapter, for unparalleled dedication to the safety profession.

“What a great compensation for your full devoted time and huge amount of money you spent on ASSP during your tenure as a Chapter President?

“A very big CONGRATULATIONS to you on this prestigious Award,” he stated.

Writing on behalf of the “Ekam clan”, Mrs. Josephine and Princess Mercy Nsikak-abasi Ekam said, “You are truly a leader who has the kindest heart. We are so blessed and happy for you and your achievement. You have done so well for humanity and that’s why you deserve this wonderful conferment…

“Your dedication and persistence have helped bring us to this point, don’t stop now. I know where your heart lies and right now it is beating with passion. You are successful because love fuels your every move and God your light shining in the darkness as you serve humanity, so don’t stop until you have achieved all your goals.”

A safety veteran, Kofi Sagoe hailed Engr. Ekam’s zeal, dedication to self-development and mentorship, noting that these have helped to elevate him to enviable heights.

Writing on behalf of his family, Sagoe said, “We are proud of you as you had made our choice over two decades ago of being one of us in Loss Prevention Unit of Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited a worthwhile exercise.

“During the decades you built up yourself as a thorough bred safety engineer & in addition nurtured some best minds into premier professionals as beacons of excellence.
