BREAKING: Another Fire Outbreak Erupts At Balogun Market

Barely two months after a policeman and several goods valued at millions of Naira, went up in flames at Balogun market, a section of the popular market on Lagos Island, is reportedly on fire again.

The raging inferno was said to have started in the early hours of Wednesday, January 29, 2020.

Eyewitnesses said that the fire started from the building opposite Oluwole Car Park on Martins Street.

Goods worth millions of naira have so far been razed by the raging inferno in Balogun market in Lagos. No fatalities reported yet but a number of people were injured, according to The Guardian. Officials who spoke on condition of anonymity said that the inferno started around 10 am when a generating set operated by one of the occupants exploded and caught fire.
