Health misinformation, especially within communities, poses a significant risk by spreading false or misleading information that can lead to harmful health behaviors and poor decision-making.

This misinformation often thrives on social media and word of mouth, where unverified claims about treatments, vaccines, and health practices can quickly gain traction.

The consequences of such misinformation can be dire, including the erosion of trust in healthcare providers, delays in seeking proper medical care, and an increased likelihood of individuals turning to dangerous alternatives.
