Engr Julius Chukwuemeka celebrates Anambra firefighters for dedication

 

The Anambra State Commissioner for Power and Water Resources, Engr Julius Chukwuemeka has congratulated the state firefighters on this year’s International Fire Fighters Day(IFFD).

 

The Commissioner noted that the sacrifices, efforts and dedications of the state fire fighters towards the protection of lives and properties, are well appreciated.

He stated that Governor Soludo’s government has since inception, poised to upgrading the state fire service to enhance their fight against fire emergencies in the state. He said that the governor has procured modern fire fighting gadgets worth millions of naira, distributed computers to digitalise the service & has refurbished/refurbishing break down fire trucks to compliment the existing ones within one year in office.

Engr Chukwuemeka also celebrated the state fire chief, Engr Agbili Martins for his doggedness in managing the Anambra State Fire Service and quick responses to fire emergencies and promised that his ministry would maintain the synergy with the state fire service to ensure the safety & protection of lives and properties of ndi Anambra.
