Eugene Itua Joins NECA’s Governing Council
The Chief Executive Officer of Natural Eco Capital, Eugene Itua has been appointed to governing board of Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA), consisting of best captains of industry in Nigeria.
Itua’s appointment was contained in a statement made available to HSENations.
The statement reads thus, “Happy to let you know that Dr. Eugene Itua has been appointed a member of the Governing Council of NECA”
NECA is committed to building a vibrant and sustainable Business Membership Organisation that is responsive to the needs of its members. Before his appointment as board member NECA, Dr. Eugene Itua is the CEO of Natural Eco Capital, a Sustainability Consulting Firm at the vanguard of promoting the integration of the emergent sustainability issues of Circular Economy, Natural Capital, Low Carbon Development Strategies with Sustainable/Green Financing.

Eugene is the Thematic Lead of Circular Economy of the Sustainability Policy Commission of Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) and a City Organizer for the Circular Economy Club.
He is a Fellow of Lead International. He is also a Fellow of the Nigerian Environmental Society where he serves as the current Chairman of the Lagos Chapter (Mainland). Dr. Itua was the Chairman of the Panel of Experts that developed the Climate Change Bill for the 8th National Assembly.
As a member of College of Research Associates of United Nation University- Institute for Natural Resources in Africa, He is on the Roster of Experts of the UNFCCC for Nigeria Senior Policy Fellow of Institute of Green Growth Solutions and Coordinator of Natural Eco Capital Membership of Climate Technology Center and Network (CTCN).
