IOSH UK Partner LSSC… Appoints Adegbola As Africa Representative

The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), United Kingdom, has partnered the Lagos State Safety Commission (LSSC) in the delivery of first class training in Health and Safety.

This partnership is believed to strengthen relationship and build capacity of significant number of practitioners, Managers, Graduates and more from any discipline in IOSH courses.

In another development, the UK body has appointed Mrs. Funmi Adegbola, a British- Nigerian, as her local Business Development Consultant in actualization of her West Africa growth project. The appointment is contained in a recent statement made available by IOSH management team.

According to the statement signed by Alan Stevens, Head of Global Engagement, Adegbola will assist the local training providers and act as an intermediary between IOSH, Lagos State Safety Commission and other key stakeholders.

The IOSH Statement reads:

Adegbola has a plethora of experience. She holds an MSc in Occupational Health, Safety and Environment from the University of Greenwich (UK) and a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from the National Compliance and Risk Qualification (NCRQ). She is a Graduate member of the Institute Of Safety and Health (IOSH) and an Associate member of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM).

Adegbola who is the Managing Director of Combined Training Solutions Ltd, an international Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Consulting firm is also a consultant to The Lagos State Safety Commission (LSSC) as the Administrator for compliance in the Financial and Insurance sectors in Lagos State.

Adegbola is a seasoned consultant with proven, measurable, business success, across different industries. She is a business recovery and market growth specialist with the ability to quickly evaluate, prioritize and address issues in underperforming and growing businesses and then devise a plan for strategic recovery and growth.
