The AfriSAFE gala, held in Lagos on November 10, 2023, was a sensational event that brought together esteemed professionals and organizations from across Kenya, Botswana, Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, Uganda, Zambia, and beyond. Under the inspiring theme, “Collaborating For A Safer and Sustainable Africa,” this gathering symbolized the collective commitment to fostering a safer and more secure Africa.
During the ceremony, a multitude of outstanding individuals and organizations were acknowledged for their invaluable contributions to the HSSE sector. These luminaries included visionary leaders such as Taiwo Ayodele Adeniyi, CEO of Vitafoam Plc; Ayodele Abioye, CEO of BUA Foods; Nachilala Nkombo, CEO of WWF Zambia; and Kayode Adeleke, CEO of RusselSmith, among others. Enterprise, Golden Africa Djibouti, NMS Infrastructure Limited, RusselSmith Nigeria Limited, Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), and Stanbic IBTC Holdings were among the recipients of this prestigious acknowledgement.
