Barely a month after opening nominations, AfriSAFE has recorded an impressive over 8,000 nominations from 33 countries worldwide.
The Professional of the Year category leads with 24% of the nominations, followed by Torch Bearers with 18%, Outstanding Woman in Safety with 12%, and CEOs with 11%.
Organizational categories, including Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, Construction, Mining, Telecommunications, and Manufacturing, account for 25% of the nominations, while other categories share the remaining 10%.
In response to the overwhelming response and requests for more time, AfriSAFE has extended the nomination period.
The nomination period, which opened on April 28th, will now continue through June 7.
