The euphoria of drawing the curtain to end the year 2019 is no doubt in the air.
The Banks are experiencing a beehive of last minute withdrawals from customers.
Departmental Stalls are experiencing human traffic who are stocking their homes all in a bid to celebrate the new year- while Drinking bars are also stocking-up for the eve night where men and women will drink their way to usher in 2020.
However, their must be caution for this category of celebrants because many would definitely drink to stupor.
Here are tips to help those who will be at the bar stay safe tonight.
First off, don’t drink and drive. January 1st has been shown to have the highest incidence of alcohol-related highway deaths of any day of the year. So, have a sober friend to drive you home, or call a cab or an Uber.
Second, aim to drink no more than one drink per hour. This will ensure that your body can keep up with the alcohol toxins.
And third, stay hydrated–try to drink a glass of water between every drink. This will take the edge off of any hangover, and it will also keep you from getting too intoxicated in the first place.
