
Temitope Mudele:
Temitope is a Chartered Member of IOSH and currently the QHSE Manager of VACC Technical Ghana Limited.
He is an AfriSAFE2019 Award Nominee and currently the National Secretary of the IOSH West Africa Network, who is actively involved in the grassroots development of OHS professionals globally.
Temitope is a talented, dedicated and resourceful Professional with established high level skills and abilities; showcased in the Multinational, National and Local industries. He has over 15 years of work experience; which have spanned through the construction, manufacturing, consulting, facility management and training industries.
FunmiAdegbola:
Funmi is a Graduate Member (ongoing Chartered membership transition) and the mastermind of the well organised and widely attended IOSH West Africa Conference.
She is the MD/CEO Combined Training Solutions Ltd; Founder of the Young Life Savers Academy- an HSE school club dedicated to empowering teenagers and an author of a Child Safety Book.
She has a wealth of experience that spans over a decade & has helped shape safety compliance in the Insurance & Financial Sectors in Lagos State in her capacity as a Consultant to the State Commission.
She was named one of the top 10 Most Admired Safety Personality in West Africa in 2019.
Funmi has spent the last eighteen (18) months strategically positioning IOSH in West Africa by creating top level collaborations in both the public and private sectors.
As part of her drive for “diversity and inclusion”, she came up with the concept of IOSH West Africa Branch; where all West Africa countries fall under one umbrella to form IOSH districts (new and existing) to be a formidable force and to push the agenda of IOSH in their region.
Edward Debra:
Edward who says his vision is to ensure IOSH becomes a household name and the Go-to Professional OSH Body in Ghana is a Technical Member of IOSH, aiming to be a Chartered Member by December 2020.
Edward is currently the HSE Compliance & Retail Manager of Rigworld Petroleum Services Limited in Ghana and also runs his own private HSE & Compliance Consulting Services; which also supports IOSH’s “No Time to Loose” Campaign with the aim of preventing occupational cancers in Ghana.
He has been a part of previous IOSH Conferences as well as having the opportunity to speak at the IOSH West African Conference 2020 in Lagos.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Oil and Gas Management from the Coventry University, United Kingdom with over 7 years of working experience in the oil and gas industry in OSH roles.
Rosemary Uba-Nzemeka:
Rosemary is a student member of IOSH and a Health and Safety Master’s degree student at Leeds Beckett University, UK. She is passionate about impacting lives positively and loves challenges.
Her professional goal is to be proficient in creating risk management systems and mentally stable workforce at workplaces.
Rosemary is a recipient of IOSH student bursary and her first E-book – “Behind closed doors” journal is a practical tips on how to overcome depression, silence negative thoughts and heal the mind.
She had her job experience as a medical representative with Mega Life-Sciences Ltd where she was involved in risk profiling and incident management of a 20+ client portfolio. She was also a Volunteer Program Officer at Lagos Food Bank Initiative.
Akeem Mustapha:
Akeem is a Chartered Member of IOSH with over 15 years work experience – spreading across several industrial sector giants including Halliburton, International Energy Services Limited, Lafarge & Procter & Gamble.
He was named one of the “Top 10 Most Admired Safety Personality in West Africa in 2019” and the founder of HSEQ Professional Nigeria – an HSE online platform where over 4000 HSE professionals network; share HSE challenges & proffer solutions; share job opportunities & mentor upcoming HSE professionals. Several young verifiable professionals through the HSEQ platforms have secured jobs via dedicated channels since its creation.
He is currently the HSE Manager for Upfield Canada and also a mentor & coach to young & upcoming HSE Professionals in Nigeria & around the World via his online platforms where he supports over 3 Thousand HSE Professionals.
Raufah Adigun:
Raufah is a Graduate Member of IOSH, currently working to become a Chartered Member. According to her, she is extremely eager to contribute to the growing effort of IOSH; by increasing the number of women in technical disciplines who would be positioned to be a voice for the new generation of IOSH members.
Raufah holds an MSc degree in Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental Management, with a proven record of achievement in implementing effective procedures to promote and improve existing standards in health & safety of employees, customers and company property.
She is currently the Health and Safety Officer at Gibeon Restaurants Ltd with the overall responsibility for the management of health & safety throughout the restaurant chain.
Raufah is a critical thinker and problem solver with a degree of accuracy and attention to detail with extensive experience also in administration and event management.
Eric Nkeng
Eric is a graduate IOSH Member from Cameroon.
He is a Health and Safety Practitioner with 6 years’ experience in construction safety, facility management from these organizations: Alain Center for care and rehabilitation, Infotech Electro-mechanical Company.
He has a good knowledge of UAE labour laws in relation to employers and employee’s health and safety roles and responsibilities; Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHAD-SF) legislation, code of practices, technical guidelines and mechanisms, which enable him to advise his organization about it OHS requirements.
Eric has archived 1,000,000 man work hours without any Long-Term Injuries (LTI) in the Mega Construction Project – Family Hotel Abu Dhabi in 2018
Emmanuel Olumese
Emmanuel is a Chartered Member of IOSH with 7 years’ work experience. He is a dynamic and prolific Chartered QHSE practitioner in the Facilities Management Field, aiming to continually improve self and organizational prowess; impacting a good safety, quality, and environmental culture with an eye for continuous process improvement, and also ensuring customers satisfaction with the mindset that zero harm is achievable.
Emmanuel is the HSE Technician, Facilities Management – Qatar Museums with responsibilities of keeping up-to-date with recommended codes of practice and safety literature; continually maintaining an appropriate level of awareness; knowledge and preparedness across the organization – to create a culture that prioritizes effective HSE and balances overall associated costs; providing regular written reports and updates to the Senior Management Team among other numerous functions.
Information gathered from IOSH official says that voting is now open to elect the twelve new members of IOSH Council out of the 56 candidates Worldwide.
All IOSH members are invited to vote for who they would like to represent the voice of the membership in the Council elections. Voting is on Till August 7, 2020
